Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Halal Health. They set out how the app may be used, what you can expect from us, and the limits of that relationship. By using Halal Health, you agree to them.

i.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Halal Health, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

You confirm you're old enough to enter this agreement in your region, and that the information you provide to us is accurate.

ii.

Using the app

Halal Health gives you tools to scan products, review ingredients, search by barcode, save your scan history, and track hydration, sleep, symptoms, goals, and your wellness score. You agree to use these features as intended, and you agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
  • Copy, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its data without our written permission.
  • Rely on the app as a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or religious-compliance advice.
iii.

Your account

Some features work without an account — your first scans need no sign-in. Where you do create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

iv.

Not medical advice

Halal Health is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Wellness scores, disease scores, and similar indicators are provided for research, educational, and informational purposes only. They are not concrete medical findings, predictions, or guarantees. Always consult a qualified professional for medical, nutritional, or health decisions.

Product, ingredient, and halal-related information is provided to help you stay informed, but you remain responsible for verifying anything critical to your health, diet, or beliefs before acting on it.

v.

Content & accuracy

Product details come from third-party databases and other sources. We work to keep them useful and current, but we can't guarantee that every entry — ingredients, classifications, or scores — is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Where information matters to an allergy, a medical condition, or a religious requirement, please confirm it against the product packaging and an authoritative source.

vi.

Intellectual property

The Halal Health app, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own wellness purposes. Your own entries and data remain yours.

vii.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halal Health is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, or from reliance on product, ingredient, or wellness information within it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

viii.

Termination

You may stop using Halal Health and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or where we need to for legal or security reasons. Provisions meant to survive termination — such as intellectual property and liability — will continue to apply.

ix.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app develops. When changes are material, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Halal Health after changes means you accept the updated terms.
